Before anyone replies that the specs are already posted.. I have tried to find this everywhere.

My question is can version 6 and version 5.5 both play together online in multiplayer modes? Can 5.5 only play online with 5.5? Thinking of upgrading but still want to play with a buddy who isn't planning to upgrade from 5.5.

Even older 5.5 versions aren't compatible with newer 5.5 versions. All participants need to run the exact same version.
 
Just keep both versions around.

You can fire up 5.5 to play with 5.5 users, and then switch to 6.0 to play with 6.0 users.

There is no problem having both versions of the software on your computer... other than the space required.

Upgrading does not delete your prior installation and models.
 
How Does One Get the Password to a MP Session

Please share - it looks like so great sessions going on but I can't get in because I don't know the password.
 
The password is set by the host. I'm sure everyone who he wants to have the password has it.
