good day all

im not familiar with making planes in realflight but I have been working on scratch building this in 120" span. over the long course getting from the igs files on the ama website to today there has been several variations of the model in various formats.

first though, is realflight capable of modeling BSLD wings? (Bell Shaped Lift Distribution)

either way, hopefully some of you may find this useful for something fun, just sharing the knowledge. if anyone is interested in making this model in realflight I can help some

Original IGES from ama website converted to sketchup (not entirely clean geometry)

I also have igs dxf and stp files with updated airfoils from Steven Seim in rhino that may be useful.

original white paper on the project: http://www.amaflightschool.org/sites/default/files/219072.pdf

and a link to the ama page with the igs files from nasa: http://www.amaflightschool.org/PRANDTL

Yes it could potentially I got it in to max. But there are no control surfaces and the legal issue is much more concerning with stuff coming from 3d warehouse. so I would not try and repost it here the model here for realfight.
