New G4 public beta (4.50.040) is available
RealFlight G4 version 4.50.040 is now available as a public beta download. Instructions for obtaining it are provided below.
Be aware that we don't currently recommend downloading this version if you don't want to help test it.
We don't expect this particular version to become a full public release. It is likely to remain on the public beta server only. It contains a number of fixes in many areas of the sim, but we are primarily interested in putting our latest multiplayer changes in the hands of some interested users to see how they fare out there in the real world. Note: This version is incompatible with earlier versions when it comes to multiplayer connections.
If you use this new version, we encourage you to report any new bugs you encounter. We want to hear about those problems. However, we don't claim that this build is ready for prime time, so you should recognize that and adjust your expectations accordingly.
Perform the following steps to obtain the update:
The LauncherHelper will need to restart partway through this process. Answer "Yes" when it asks if you want to continue downloading the new version. When this process is finished, you will have the latest available version of RealFlight G4.

- Start the RealFlight G4 Launcher
- Click Additional Options, then Technical Support
- Click Enter Tech Support Code
- Enter the following code: B#yj5qxe4555e5 (If successful, you will see a message saying "You are now registered to use the Public Beta site until the new version is posted to official download site.")
- Go back to the main Launcher menu and click Registration/Updates
- Make sure that in the bottom left corner it says Temporary Public Beta (PS). If not, try reentering the code
- Click Update to Latest Version; alternatively, click Update to Specific Version, choose 4.50.040 from the list, and click OK.
