NX8 controller issues

RFE will recognize my NX8 as a controller but will not let it calibrate. Also when flying there is no input from the controller.
What am I doing wrong. Have followed the vids on utube. But to no avail.
 
There's a known bug in NX firmware version 3.13 that prevents it from working as a game controller. If that's your situation, you can downgrade to 3.12.
 
Good news: I've learned that while the Spektrum team has not yet put out all the standard public notices (that is coming shortly), today they released an update to fix this issue. All affected users are advised to update their firmware to version 3.13B.
