Planes+water=????

People who have g4: What happens if you crash a regular plane into the water? Does it float or sink or what? Also, can you drive any boats?
 
There are cars for 3.5 in the swap pages.

I'm sure its just a matter of time before we seen boats in g4.

Actually.........I have 3DS Max 9. Boats are alot easier than planes to model.

Hmmmmm.....

Once I get G4....I may be all over that one.!! :rolleyes:

Well, I tried several aircraft, including helis. Dependding on how hard you hit the water, they will break-up(just like on land) or stay whole, but they will float to some degree.
 
Pretty much like real life when you hit the water. They all either smash or sort of float for a while (at least long enough to get the rescue boat out to them).

I have flown off of the water and while I've never had a bad landing on water, I have had bad take-offs. One to the point of trying to make a SeaWind into a submarine (reversed elevator & I missed it on preflight). I have yet to see one immediately sink.

My G4 will be here in a couple of days and I'll let you know how it seems to compare to real life.
