Rachet on speed/collective control.

Is it possible to adjust the stiffness of this control. I find it too stiff when flying Helicopters. The neutral hover position is always between 2 stops.

I assume I would have to take the back cover off the controller. Has anyone done this?

Yes, almost everyone who flies helis. Just take the back off, and reverse the little ratchet arm on the throttle stick. I thought the manual or the box insert had directions, but it's pretty easy to do.

Since I fly helis primarily, I also like a non-ratcheted collective/throttle stick. So I put a piece of fuel tubing over the metal piece.
