Rectractable landing gear modeling and setup in RF

Hello,
When this landing gear retracts, its main "leg" rotates about its pivot point. At the same time, the hydraulic actuator pulling the leg rotates and slides inside the landing gear cavity.

The main leg and the actuator will be connected using pivot and the movement of the other end of the actuator will follow the arc having a very large radius with another pivot in the center.

I have successfully used the large arc method before ( ref: Scott Nichols' e-mails ) for the cabin canopy to simulate its sliding motion in RF but I feel the present problem will be a bit more complex.

Thank you in advance for your comments and suggestions.
Matt

A linear actuator is now available in RF7. I think it would solve your problem. Upgrade is only $50.00.

The attached photo shows where it is in the editor, I used the wing as a example which is why everything shows symmetrical but it shows up both ways on the fuselage.
