Since I love dropping bombs with my EA's, I reset a lot to reload, but I just found out, if you rewind for a split second, the detachable items are re-attached!!! I can keep bombing and bombing without having to take off again.
You can see in the first screenshot, the bombs have been released in the starting position. In the second screenshot I have completely moved the B-1 away from the spawn point, then did a rewind for a split second, then was able to release the bombs again. This is awesome.
I also just discovered that any broken components such as wings, landing gears, etc. will also re-attach as well as bringing your fuel back to 100%, so reset is not even needed to refuel.
