Jim Bourke, General Manager of Knife Edge Software LLC, recently announced that he has purchased the Yak-54 known as “Russian Thunder” on behalf of his new company, Extreme Aerosports. This aircraft is one of the few Yak-54s produced and is the only one currently flying in the US. Jim’s immediate plans are to hangar the aircraft near the Knife Edge HQ in Corvallis, OR, USA.
Many RealFlight customers will recognize the aircraft, as it has appeared in the simulator since the release of RealFlight G3.
