How do I stop G4.5 from adjusting the screen res. on startup? I appreciate the A.I. but I really want to stay with the screen res. I pick. Thanks.
 
Simulation, Settings, Graphics, Hardware.

Set the refresh rate, resolution, and color depth to the same you have on your desktop resolution and it'll work.

Alternatively, you can run the sim outside of fullscreen mode (Alt+Enter during 'gameplay') which will use desktop resolution, etc. as well as AA/AF settings. Quality suffers but will leave a windowed screen for you.

I should have mentioned I do run G4.5 in full screen mode and I do set the res. I want in the settings however on startup G4.5 SOMETIMES changes my res. and that is what I would like to turn off if possible.
 
Take G4.5 out of full screen mode and it will not change the screen resolution.

It will always run in windowed mode this way.

If you in turn make the window smaller than the screen resolution, you'll see a floating window.
