Stampe SV-4b Build

Here's a study of one particular airframe, not the best, as in a close up walk around, but better than some, and the PRICE is right. Yup!!

Some more, same plane, I'm sure there is something that can be gleaned here.

Great... Is there going to be a CS with the shot off tail from indiana jones? :D
Funny you should ask that.
Me and my friend Paul used to fly mock combat at the fly ins and he did in my rudder once. Check out the duct tape repair on my rudder. :)

That's great. Can you find some detailed pics of the gear up close? Inner hub detail would be great. I seen Nick in here again and no response from him. This model will be for you Rick if he doesn't wake up.
Sorry, I was watching the request here forum and didn's see the new one here.
Lots of Pics coming.
Just had a plain old plastic spinner on mine.
I started out with a semi scale gear with bungees like on a Cub but went to a heavier wire gear with no cross in the middle when I switched engines.

Your model is looking *great* the detail is amazing.
BTW the flat plate in between the hand holds on the center section is a framed rear view mirror.
On my Pics, the white spinner was pre maiden pics, red spinner was a week after.
No spinner was after switching from OS FS120 to a Super Tigre 2000.

I'll be checking here daily.

, this is a French version of the Tigermoth least thats what i was told

Hi Doug.
In the pic of three side by side above, the Stampe in the middle is actually a bashed GeeBee Tiger Moth. All I did was reshape the tail feathers, wing tips and add a stringer down the side to fatten her up a little.

Nick

PS, if you ever wondered if you could fly that bipe with the top wing off.....

I've ended up going the full scale route. Allot of material is available for the full size and not as much for RC. Of the RC material the scale is different between models and the hardware varied as well so I went with consistancy. I hope you like the full scale look.

Some poly painted pics.

Wow! I never dreamed there were so many Stampe lovers, I never heard of it til High road came out.
Want to know something else?
I did it with the Sig smith miniplane with an OS FS90 too. (sorry, no pics to prove it)

No but I may put out a separate monoplane version. :)

You can never have to many inline engine Skywalkers on the swaps.
On second thought, their are none, so it'd be a first. :)

The "INLINE" version of the "Spacewalker" is a plane called a "Sky Dancer 2". See pic,and you'll see the resemblance. She's a purty one 2.
