Are you using OpenTX or FRos? If OpenTx, does it communicate with Companion on the PC?
If that is working, then the basics are fine. Search here for "Taranis" for several threads about this.
Note: a previous Windows 10 update installed a new joystick driver that replaced the old one, which killed the connection. If using RF from Steam, Steam too had issues allowing things to work. Both fixes can be found by doing a search.

Believe it or not, I did search for Taranis on here before posting threads. Everything I saw, I have already tried at least before posting.
But, I am using Steam and I tried disabling the controller support. That also did not work. But thank you for suggesting that. I didn't think of that one. The thing I tried was suggested here
I'm going to try and see if I can get a non steam version of the game and try it.
