get RF8 today. ill run it abit on my laptop to make sure it works good. after that id like to get a decent size maybe 32-37in screen to play in the mancave with. would I be better off getting a led 1080p tv or monitor?

I bought a 42 inch 4k TV. its cheaper than a monitor. just make sure its 120hz which i think all 4k are. a 1080 TV is fine also. again make sure its not a 60hz

Not a good solution IMO. TV refresh rate is handled differently from monitors. Monitor is the way to go.

- Monitors can accept a true 120hz - 144hz - 240hz signal from your card, and then display actual rendered frames.

- TVs don't do this. They can only accept a 60hz signal. Then upconvert it by interpolating (guessing at) extra frames via it's own software. This internal processing adds delay before the frame is displayed, which will cause input lag.
Most TVs have a setting called Game Mode which turns off all internal processing and eliminates input lag... but will only display the TVs native 60hz.

I hooked up to a 32" cheap led tv last nite. Worked really well. No lag that I could tell. I don't know if I want to spend money on a monitor only. Ill just use what I have. It was fun !
