The Beechcraft Model 18, or "Twin Beech", as it is better known, is a six- to 11-seat, twin-engined, low-wing, tail dragger aircraft manufactured by the Beech Aircraft Corporation of Wichita, Kansas. This model saw military service during and after World War II in a number of versions, including the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) C-45 Expeditor, AT-7 Navigator, AT-11 Kansan; and for the United States Navy (USN), UC-45J Navigator and the SNB-1 Kansan.

In addition to carrying passengers the aircraft's uses have included aerial spraying, sterile insect release, fish seeding, dry ice cloud seeding, aerial firefighting, air mail delivery, ambulance service, numerous movie productions, skydiving, freight, weapon and drug smuggling, engine testbed, sky writing, and banner towing. Many are now privately owned.

Original modelling by Doug “INK79” Kane.

Control description:

Individual right and left brakes on Interlink controller three way switch channel 8. Useful for ground handling since the rudders don't have much authority at taxiing speeds.

* Brakes off – center position. Used for taking off / landing.
* Left brake only – toggle towards you
* Right brake only – toggle farthest position from you.

No landing flaps are available on this model. To compensate I've added 2 wheel braking on the Interlink rotary knob controller channel 6 which is traditionally used for flaps.

Retractable landing gear on the traditional channel 7. I've added staggered wheel lift / lowering.

Conventional controls for other flight functions. Fly with the rate switch in the “High” position. Lands well without flaps.

This is a very nice flying larger scale model. Well worth adding to your Realflight hanger.
