Another brentg masterpiece in my hangar for the past few years, I’m finally uploading for the rest of us to enjoy…
I love the original version of this plane. It flies great and represents such a unique era of innovation, risk and romance in aviation. Crazy cool little plane.
AND, I’ve always wondered what the heck would happen if I modleled the trapeze hooks in the Edit page, so here it is…
Half Scale. Fully rendered gull-wings, rounded eppenage, wing tips gear struts, and of course that funky trapeze bracketry. A very nice flyer small enough even at 50% to comfortably fit into Carl Henson Field with great Taxi/turn ability
In addition to the OBSCENE amount of wing-bits added, I have my usual Half Scale features like no high rate switch, reasonably scale-like flying/landing speeds, and full throttle vertical stalls via re-mapped torque curve…
Guns on Channel 5
Cockpit Cam on Channels 6 and 8
(scroll knob to look around, 3-position to look up/straight/down)
And special thanks to 25thcentury for that fabulous radial rumble…I got it from his TBD Devastator AV, and its awesome!!!
Enjoy
