"Worldwide Warbirds, Inc. is the nation's leader in L-39 restorations with nearly twice as many L-39s delivered as the nearest competitor. Passion fuels the pursuit of excellence and commitment to customers. Making warbird jet dreams come true is the goal.

Worldwide Warbirds, Inc. has been providing top notch restoration, service, parts, sales, and training for nearly ten years.

Flight tests showed that the L-39 had excellent flight characteristics and in 1971, preparations were made to produce the L-39 at Aero's factory. The aircraft was officially named the "Albatros" and the first pre-production series were handed over to the Czechoslovakian air force in March 1972. In 1973, the L-39 passed the State Verification tests for acceptance in the Soviet Union, therefore complying with the requirements for deployment to Soviet military academies. With its ease of operation and low maintenance requirements, the L-39 was in demand by over 30 air forces throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa."
