The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II ("Warthog") is an American twin-engine, straight-wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic in the early 1970s.

Designed solely for close air support of ground forces. Tank killer.

This Realflight 7 variant model flies similarly to the model featured in YouTube video

Fast forward to airplane take off at the 3:00 minute mark.

Flies nicely. Fast but very controllable. A bit sensitive to pitch so a steady hand on the elevators is needed.

If using landing flaps, use just a degree or 2. Liberal use of the elevators is needed to get a nice slightly flared landing.

Put the top left top toggle switch in the middle position before loading the airplane otherwise you will find the guns firing.

Put other toggle switch in low rate position.

Use lots of up elevator when taking off to avoid putting excessive pressure on the nose gear.

Better suited for more advanced pilots.
