Cessna 170b.

The Cessna 170 is a light, single-engined, general aviation aircraft produced by the Cessna Aircraft Company between 1948 and 1956.

In 1952, the Cessna 170B was introduced featuring a new wing tapered outboard of the flaps, incorporating dihedral similar to the military version.

The 170B model also included a new tailplane, a revised tail wheel bracket, and other refinements over the 170 and 170A. It was marketed in 1952 for $7,245.00

Thanks to “crashed_again” for the model.

1:6 Semi scale Cessna. 5 Channel.

Controls include throttle, rudder, ailerons, elevator, and landing flaps.

Various adjustments for good flight performance in RF 7.5.

Fly with the channel 5 rate switch in the “High” position.

I added landing flaps which are controlled via channel 6. The flaps don't visually move but their effect is definitely felt.

This model flies fairly decently. Nice landings with or without using the flaps.
