Shortened Taylorcraft wings are a desired performance upgrade for the real life full sized airplane.
Without power the "clipped-wing" "falls out of the sky" in contrast to the stock Piper Cub. Shortening the wings does not improve the air speed very much.
As per the real full sized airplane, this Realflight model variant has had the stock wing replaced with a higher performance one. Various other parameters were also tweaked for improved stunt-ability and easier landings.
This model exhibits noticeably good aerobatic performance. It can be tossed about in the sky in a most satisfying manner.
