Chance Vought F4U Corsair (larger scale)

The Chance Vought F4U Corsair was an American fighter aircraft that saw service primarily in World War II and the Korean War.

Approximately 28 Corsairs have survived to the present day, many in the hands of private collectors. They are a common sight at air shows in America and across the world.

Thanks to “thegibson” for the model and “TIMBO50” for the “Gregory Pappy Boyington” paint scheme.

Various modifications for excellent performance in RF 7.5.

Controls include throttle, rudder, elevator, landing flaps, retractable landing gear, wheel brakes, guns.

Fly with the channel 5 rate switch in the “High” position.

Landing flaps are on channel 6. Very mild brakes are also engaged via channel 6. Useful for holding position while sitting on the runway.

Retracts are on channel 7.

Guns are on channel 8. Fly with the switch in the position closest to you or the middle position. The switch position farthest from you fires the guns.

This alternate view Corsair has fairly real model flight characteristics. Nice throaty engine sound. Very good landings with or without the landing flaps. A must have addition for the WW II warbird enthusiasts.
