After getting more familiar with the physics editor in G4 I've created a Variant of the Elegance that I believe will closely replicate the real model.
Since originally designing the model I've acquired larger brushless motors and benched them. This Variant represents that change, though slightly less powerful than the real plane will be. Also upgraded are heavier LiPos to handle the higher current drain. Airframe mass is a touch over 19lbs with these changes.
To model cargo I've pre-loaded the ballast cube under the main wing with 8lbs. This is a conservative representation of the three camera systems that I plan on loading this airplane down with.
Take note to use your camber-changing for different flight speeds; full throttle is very nicely balanced by reflexing the main wing, whereas neutral is great for gliding and positive camber can still slow her down quite nicely. Don't forget about your proportional flaps on the radial knob too--landings under 20MPH are still easily attained.
