The McDonnell F2H Banshee was a single-seat carrier-based jet fighter aircraft deployed by the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps from 1948 to 1961. It was one of the primary American fighters used during the Korean War and was the only jet-powered fighter ever deployed by the Royal Canadian Navy, serving the RCN from 1955 until 1962. The aircraft's name is derived from the banshee of Celtic mythology.

Various modifications for RF 7.5 create realistic flight performance for this larger scale model.

13.33 feet wingspan. 67.2 pounds weight. 100 pounds of jet engine thrust provides “adequate” performance as the British would say.

Fly with the rate switch in the “High” position. Landing flaps on the Interlink controller channel 6 rotary knob. Retractable landing gear controlled by channel 7.

For takeoff and general flight put the 3 position channel 8 switch in the middle position. Toggling towards you engages the speed brake and lowers the tail hook. Toggling to the position farthest from you engages just the speed brake.

For silky smooth controlled landings engage both the speed brake and the landing flaps.

This is a very good flying jet. Well worth adding to your collection.
