The Fairey Fantôme also known as the Fairey Féroce is the most elegant looking biplane to come out of the early 1930's and perhaps of all time. Only 4 aircraft were made.

It was designed in 1934 by Marcel Lobelle to meet a specification drawn up on behalf of the Belgian Aéronautique Militaire.

The timing of the introduction of this airplane was rather poor. The Belgian Aéronautique Militaire ended up selecting the Hawker Hurricane which is a higher performance mono wing design.

This Realflight alternate view model is based on a real model as described here:

The flight physics of the real life model were used as the starting point of this Realflight alternate view model. The flight physics were tweaked to provide an enhanced performance envelope as well as nicer landings.

A very nice fast flying elegant looking biplane.
