The North American AT-6 Texan was an important aircraft during World War 2. While not the fastest or most powerful and didn't see the glory of combat like other types such as the P-51, B-25, or P-47, this plane was the aircraft that the pilots of those aircraft trained on and without the Texan, there'd be no combat pilots. Having a top speed of 206 mph with it's 600 hp Pratt and Whitney R-1340-47 radial engine and weighing 5154 lbs at max takeoff weight, this is no basic trainer like the BT-13 or PT-17. Here I present to you a wonderfully created half scale version of the Texan. Unlike other variants of the stock Texan, this one with a top speed of 103 mph ((206 scale speed) with throttle trim all the way down), flies really scale. You can hear that radial engine roar on a dive or sputter in a climb! Have fun training for combat over in Europe or the Pacific!
