The P-51 started out as a Royal Air Force request to for North American Aviation to build a licensed built P-40, but NAA said they can build their own plane. In less than 120 days, the Mustang took to the skies. The British found the Allison engine had poor performance at high altitude, so they put in one of the Merlin engines from their Hurricanes and Spitfires and you than get one of the greatest designs ever. Here I present to you a wonderful half scale version of that awesome plane. I know I have released a 50% P-51 before, but this is a revised edition with more scale propeller and horsepower, fixed landing gear, and light braking when applying up elevator on the ground.
