This alternate view model is of the Hanger 9 P-51 Mk II Progressive Trainer System.
The wingspan of this alternate view model, at 4.88 feet, is just slightly larger than the real model, and the weight of 6.5 pounds is within spec of the real model.
Fly with the channel 5 rate switch in the “High” position.
Flaps are on channel 6.
No retractable landing gear.
This model definitely flies with a “small model” feel. Engine performance was bumped up so that a 3 blade propeller could be used. Performance is on the livelier side. Nice landings with or without using the landing flaps. Overall a fairly nice simulation of the real model.
