The Sun Lake's Radio Control Club (formerly known as the Sun Lake's Model Airplane Club, before we allowed surface crawlers to join) has made many improvements to our basic dirt on dirt airfield since I last posted a copy of this field. Not the least has been the addition of a non-dirt airstrip. For those that are interested, the strip is made from the underlayment used on asphalt roads. It is stapled down and then the seams are sealed with a roofing compound. Looking through the pits, you can also see part of our race track (hence the name change).
