Thanks to technoid who uploaded the T-28B Trojan 20% in May '22. The problem is I have a 1:3 scale Midour lll model tow plane which was sold by Topmodel Fr. from 2010 to sometime around 2015 and I wanted a sim plane to practice. The T-28 seemed like a good candidate to modify and hopefully fly like my Midour. The model has a 120 inch Wing span, length of 98" and loading of 43.4 oz/ft2. Weight is 42.36 pounds. I have a DA 150 mounted with a Falcon 29-12 cf three blade prop and cf spinner.
Realflight calculates the DA 150 power to 11.3hp and 79.9 lbs thrust which would be power to weight of 1.89.
I modified the T-28 airfoil, weight, CG, dihedral, wing cord, span, control throws and horizontal tail configuration. Full flaps are set to 40 degrees and take off flaps at 16 degrees. Aile 35 degrees up, 20 down and elev 25 degrees.
