The Waco YMF-5 is an early 1930's era biplane phased out of production in the late 1930's and brought back into production in 1986.
It is a big, heavier, high drag biplane which is fully aerobatic.
AMR makes a fabulous 33% scale model of the Waco YMF-5, which I used as a guide.

In the video Mitch comments on the steep glide slope and how the airplane needs a touch of throttle on landings.
I initially fairly well duplicated the general performance and flight behaviour of the AMR model in this Realflight model. However, in true modellers' fashion, I couldn't leave well enough alone and ended up improving it.
This Realflight model has generally livelier performance, a better glide slope, and dead stick landings are quite easy.
For sound I used ASP FS400AR 64cc Five Cylinder Radial - Louder. If you don't have that one, use the regular quieter version.
A very nice flying biplane.
