A very much easier to fly, 440 kph (275 mph) variant of csgill75's Westland Wyvern Race_AV, that you can now thrash about without falling apart or stalling every time you move the stick too hard or too quick!

The Westland Wyvern was a naval strike fighter, originally concieved towards the end of WWII, but not until May 1953 did any reach front line service.

More details may be found at the end of Description section that is embedded in the AV file.

All the wheels now have brakes which can be applied by pulling back on the stick (i.e. giving 'up' elevator - opposite to the usual method of using the stick to control the wheel brakes). The wheel brakes are useful for taxying and stopping before the end of the strip and nosing-over on the grass.

But take care to release the wheel brakes if the tail starts to lift, otherwise you will induce a nose-over! The wheel brake mix is on Channel 10.

The other significant change is moving the spoilers (previously labelled air brakes) to a mix from the the throttle setup on Channel 9.

Closing the throttle fully will extend the spoilers, and opening the throttle slightly will retact the spoilers again, hence the name 'Spoilers on Throttle' (SoT).

Having earlier said that 450+ kph (280+ mph) was much too fast, this variant cracks along at 440kph (275 mph)!
But this variant does so without the model falling apart or stalling so easily.
