The XF-35 is a stand-off-scale F-35 hover jet. It has two modes of operation controlled using the channel 5 switch (normally low-rate). When the channel 5 switch is up the Gyros are turned on which enables the Hover Mode. When the channel 5 switch is down the gyros are turned off and the XF-35 fly's like a normal jet. I wanted a plane that could float around hovering but also fly like a normal jet so I made it dual-mode, gyros-on and gyros-off.

The plane is compatible with RF 7.5, RF 8, RF 9, RF 9.5, RF-X, and RF Evolution.

Controls are setup for the InterLink Elite.

Gyros On: Channel 5 Switch Up. (Hover Mode)
Gyros Off: Channel 5 Switch Down. (Normal Flight Mode)
Canopy: Channel 6 knob.
Gear: Channel 7 Switch.
Smoke: Channel 8 3 Position Switch Forward.
Brakes: Down Elevator.

The afterburner is enabled when the throttle is about 95 percent. Lower throttle 1 or 2 clicks to disable afterburner. When the afterburner is enabled the exhaust is a little louder, thicker, and darker.

A special thanks to legoman, asj5547, doug schluter, JayK, and everyone on the forum for beta testing and help during the design.
