Thanks. This is not the answer i was hoping for. I do have a 64 bit proc and 64 bit windows. Why can't they patch this problem for people who run Win 7???RealFlight Evolution won't run on Windows 7. Here's the min sys requirements from Steam.
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 8, 10, or 11
Here's a post from Ryan Douglas on the RealFlight Team talking about it.

Since it's running on your gaming computer, why waste time trying to run it on an antique that doesn't support Win10?I was very excited to see this installed and running on my gaming PC
I thought this would a fun way to spend some time when I'm not flying my actual plane but it has been nothing a headache so far. I have a desktop machine with hardware which is more than adequate but for some unknown the devs at Realflight removed support for Win7. I suppose I will have to look around for refurb or similar but I dont like the idea of buying yet another PC.Looks like an new computer is going to be in your future. That machine you have is a dinosaur compared to todays H/W... you could probably get a decent Second hand computer for not much money that would run RF Evo just fine.

Ya but I have a few important apps and that will not run with win10.The dev team probably uses a Microsoft library of some sort which no longer supports Windows 7. Microsoft removed support for Windows 7 in January 2020.
