I’ll be setting up my scene for this build within the next day or so. I plan on making this one of the most detail oriented models I’ve done yet, and possibly have a hidden surprise or two if I can make it happen. Here’s a few pics in the meantime just to show the kind of detail I’m hoping to achieve.

Let’s just say I want to challenge myself. I’ve got a library of reference pics to go by so we’ll see where I can take this one. Yes, most of the work will never be noticed, but I want to see just how far I can take my abilities.

Are those pictures of your actual plane? If so I was also admiring the finished shop floor and nice looking shop overall.

Not mine. These are shots of the prototype. This model was just announced to be released just a week or two ago.

Doesn't look like much progress, but this took some time for me. I decided to work on the more time consuming details for now instead of creating the basics, but I'll most likely be switching back and forth until the basics are completed. It's not perfect, and I'm not happy with it just yet, but it's at least a start.

That's going to be a very cool looking plane when your finished. All the carbon fiber stuff will look great.

Didn’t take a render yet, but you’ll get a glimpse of the carbon fiber soon. Just made a CF material. Still looking for a good texture to use for the tga.

I noticed the interior carbon fiber ribs in the pictures at the start of the build thread, and thought they looked great but you would not go to all that trouble of including them, well I am glad to see you proved me wrong. Now I will be panning around with the interior camera admiring all the ribs detail, instead of looking where I should be flying.
