That whole thing with supporter's names being made public in the California Prop 8 vote worked out really well, right? Well maybe not if you got fired, boycotted or had protesters show up at your house for having an opinion. hmmm, is maybe not having to be accountable just for having an opinion really such a bad thing?
I mean really, why would we want people to express an opinion without having to worry about being trounced about in the forums? It's not like we would want anyone to express an honest opinion, just ones that won't get them flamed. Of course if they don't want to argue a point publicly we can always just dismiss them as juveniles that will vote for anything one way or the other.
