Looking for the G3X tool Kit

I am looking for the G3X tool kit or Converter to make Max Files for RF 3.X

I havve looked at KE and either missed it or it is no-longer there.

Any help would be welcome

As far as I know the kex exporters are 3dsMax Dependant, and not specific for RF generations.
 
To export a G3 Kex compatable file, You will eather need to learn Blenddamer, or use Max 8 or Max 9. The newer versions of Max, the converter only exports RFX Kex files.
 
My BAd. Poorly worded sentence. convert 3dsmax files to RF G3X format is what I tried to say.

Is that a limitation of 3dsmax or the KEX plugin?

If KEX plugin why would that portion be removed? There are still plenty of 3.x RF users out there in the world.

I guess I am justt bullheaded but that is just a few additional lines of code and KE can't be worried about the size of the plugin.

Same goes for the 3dsmax autodesk people

If you want to create G3/G3.5 compatible .kex files, you need the 3dsMax 9 or lower plugin.

Otherwise if you are using 3dsMax2008 or higher, the .kex exporter will only be compatible with G4 and up.

Thanks to all that have responded.

I gues I am out of luck as 3dsmax 8 & 9 are nolonger available from autodesk.

I got 3ds max 10 & eleven from my brother when he passed on as he used them in his work.

Oh well.
 
There you go again. Providing the obvious solution.

However I like where I am for the time being.
 
I did receive, (inherit), it but not using it as it has a damaged CD.

So it is sitting for now.
