yes, a wooden block in foam fuselage. just curious, but how does it influence the physics part of it?
Who said anything about it influenceing the physics. I will model the motor, and it helps to have a clue.

If you designer wants it, just give it to him. :p

more

It was a slow go today, had to make some more new parts. That push rod reinforcement tunel on the MVS was a pain. Remade the wing and the wheels. Tomorow after voteing, and going to WM, I will get after the fuse.

Thank you for the update and the pictures. It will be a pleasure, I'm sure, to fly it in G5.5. :)

Got the fuse ruffed in tonight. Still needs a lot more play time on it. Looks like I will need Coll, by the time I get the wing servos and linkages, allso the hatch and battery will fall off in a crash, that will get it's own coll. I expect to be pushing 10k when done.

Cut out the CANOPY/HATCH, and the BAT. The BAT has COLL so it will fall off, and the CANOPY will be linked to the BAT so it will go with it.

It's going to be very realistic!
Thanks for all the time you've spent on this project; something I never deserved. I'm grateful.

Got the motor finished.

Got the wing servos and linkages installed. Got started on the rubber bands. I've got a couple of deferant ideas yet to try out on this puppy. Might get ready to start Mapping by tomorow evening.

I might be ready to start Mapping tomorow. How do you use 18k on a foamie? I guess for starters, the fuse has more shapes than a 747. All the electricts. Removable Canopy, with COLl. Four Rubber Bands, in two pieces with Coll so they will break apart in a crash. The right wing breaks in the middle of the right wing.

Took a pare from the 3D EXTREME Mapping play book. The areas to get paint I maped normal way. All the edge faces and all areas that are just white foam texture get stacked so I can just lay a sheet of foam texture over the area and be done with it.

I enjoyed watching the process unfold from start to the finish. It's a new appreciation of something that flies in virtual space, and of course the designer.

Thanks Flex :)

IT's in Max, and the tga is assigned. There is a lot of stuff to link and a lot of pivots to set, but should get to RF tonight.
