Here is the newest addition to the half scale family, a 50% F-15E!!! The Strike Eagle is a multi-role aircraft that can carry loads of bombs or take on enemy jets in the sky. Weighing over 80,000lbs at max take off weight, this is no light plane. My rendition weighs much less than that, but it's still heavy enough where expert maneuvering is required. While the full scale has a flight computer system to help the pilot maneuver, I opted out of using that in order to keep the plane simple and I feel the gyros aren't necessary. This can fly all sorts of speeds from relatively slow high alpha to high speed flight, and you can really feel the power from those engines! In certain situations, this can be somewhat tricky to fly such as a slow high g turn, but with the elevons, you should be easily able to recover. Keep your speed fairly high in order to do vertical maneuvers as it is heavy, and don't forget have fun!
