This is a fun, easy-to-fly, 250 kph+, 2m wingspan model of the CT-114 Tutor as flown by the Snowbirds.
This version of minou's Snowbirds_01_EA weighs 6kg dry and has an AUW of 7.5 kg with a full 1.7 litre tank, witch will keep the model flying at full power for more than 9 mins. Fitted with a 30N FD3-64ls turbojet, it is capable of level flight at 250 kph, it can even fly the lenght of the runway at 280 kph from a dive!
Amazing fora model powered from an engine that can be built at home from scratch!!.
Smooth, bounch-free landings can be achieved by crossing the threshold at between 50 & 60 kph, with the flaps fully down and the throttle right back at 30,000 RPM.
