Flying Sub 1

A few more items were added to the FS-1 this week:

Pilot chairs
Flight deck, including the tunnel behind the it-- leading to the "engineering section"

Just some basic colors on flight deck walls, floor and ceiling-- enough to identify them.
Too early to tell if I'll go for adding pilots.

There is different opacity on each window as it's a faster way to test for the best value.

And for the wet fuel guys: started a little work on physics for some smoke-- will eventually need to be that messy 1960s jet engine stuff!

Enjoy a great week and Thanksgiving with your families!

Looks great Fly_Electric, I like the less tinted glass the best when viewed from inside, but the darker tint fits the FS-1 better viewed from the outside.

there is a way to have both the less tinted inside and more tinted outside

Thanks guys.

A bit more detail: aft starboard panel.

As far as I know, we can only have blinking lights, not sequencing through multicolor blinking lights, so one color will do.

Ah hollywood: planes need to be light weight, but we can't be bothered by reality, so let's add several heavy submarine doors! ;)

Rudder control was added to the physics to provide some takeoff steering control with the unusual LG on the FS-1. Turns out that that also allows some non "scale" slow K.E. flight..

Enjoy a great rest of the week and weekend!

Working my way around the flight deck walls..
This week: added the back wall with electronics panel and the rear hatch door.
All presently animated hatches are controlled by the ch 6 knob for now-- will have to look into figuring out how to use the 3-way switch to select the hatch of choice.
There are four hatches, so only three will be available on the EA.
Next up is section with the bunk bed and storage.

Enjoy a great weekend and week!
