Turn on "File suffixes" in Windows so you can see what is going on.

Make sure you rename the first file so that it matches the others, but with the 001 suffix. It is incorrectly named when you download it.

Then use HSSPLIT to "join" the files.

You'll end up with a file called RFV6_1.ZIP.

Open that file and extract the RFV6_1.ISO file that is contained inside.

"Mount" that file as a virtual DVD and run setup from the file.

BTW: I copied over ALL of the Expansion Pack files and Add-on pack files.

RF6 never asked for a serial number on any of these and everything works.

I'm curious to what you think of the new Heli modeling.

I noticed a couple of things right away... try Fast Forward flight to immediately see a change...

For planes, I'm happy to see that the stall characteristics are stil on the money.
Snap rolls on the bipes have the right amount of inertia without oversnapping as happened with one update on an older version of G4.

Hopefully Ryan or Jose can help you. It looks like your file sizes are about right. Are you in an Admin account?
 
Looks like you just need to rename the 9th file by removeing the the extra characters at the begining of the name so it matches the other files. Then rejoin the files to generate a new .zip
 
Installing using daemon tools lite now. Have to take my daughter to a soccer game in 10 minutes. some days....

I'm using XP
Ihave dl'd the 9 files
After joining the file as per instructions using hjsplit
and try to extract the zip file it creates
I get an error that there are no files to extract ??????

If I go to that zip files properties it says its 1.95 GB
I also tried to extract the file with 7-zip without success
at a loss.......... :confused:

Hi !

Rename the file "C__RF_RFV6_1.zip.009" to "RFV6_1.zip.009" and start the unpack again ;)

Your final joined zip is reporting the same exact file size as mine. Maybe use winrar to extract or if your running win7 use the built in utility.
 
They appear to be the same as yours

I'm stepping out with the other half, taking a break from the kids tonight
