galloping ghost has had five feet remove from each wing over the years. two feet removed in 63-69 rebuild and three feet more in 83.

oh! well that explains it.

Where do we find out what other modifications it has?

Being a racing plane, I`ve read that most if not all of the modifications are undocumented, but feel free to google and read your heart out, there`s a lot of info. out there.

I started reworking the wing this morning. I still have some work to do but it's a start.

I added the fillet at the back of the wing. Next I need to reshape the hstab.

I reworked the hstab today. The shape is correct but the elevator is much larger for the Fun Fly version.

I just finished reworking the vstab. Like the hstab the shape is correct but the rudder is larger for the fun fly version. The fin on the front of the vstab looks too tall and has a little blip at the front of it but that will be fixed when I add the turtle deck. The turtle deck will raise that area quite a bit.

Nothing to report but I repositioned the wing gear since it got out of whack when I reworked the wing.

Again not much to report but I worked on the fuselage. The sides of the fuselage on my PX series Mustangs has always been too rounded so I went back and flattened it out. You can't tell much from the picture but here it is now. Progress is slow these days the wife has some serious issues so I'm with her a lot now days dealing with it. But I get to work on the plane sometimes.

Another tiny update. I added the little fin at the tip of the wing. (what are they called)
