And to think you're the one who b-words (that's the way my daughter says it) when I put too much smoke on my models!! :p :D

YES!

All too often the normal map layer is made at once, using the same offset for all objects...

That has the effect of making panel lines far too deep or rivets far too bumpy.

Rivets should have a filter offset of 1-2 pixels at most, if other objects use more.

By the time you hit 4 pixels, things look far too deep or bumpy.

Darn! I should have edited it first for extra smoke and oil. :D

NO! I did not say to remove them. Rivet lines are great, but there can be enough of a good thing. Why are the rivets black. Who would not paint over the rivets? You missed the entire intent of the conversation. Sure you did a lot of work preparing the panel line rivets, but show them as they would be on the real plane. The plane is about the plane, not the rivet lines holding it together.

Is this better?

Understood. Strangely enough, the rivet lines were actually part of the regular map. I don't think there are any normal maps for the me-262.

Real Flight customized........ :)

Allright, so we know that Boof is running an upgrade version of Realflight G5 and is using an older Interlink.
Yeah, I think some pierates just nabbed some valid serial numbers.

Watch what you post guys.....

I meant to post my launcher screen and totaly forgot it displays the serials.
The other thing that's weird Phrank is that the controller came from a full G5 box version. The serial says I3 isn't that the correct Interlink or did they ship mine with an older controller?
