Hi!

OK guys... the 3D model and the CS is done. Lacks a good flight physics.
Now I'm working on the 3G and 3GX version.

For Mikey: Any good news about the physics???

Very nice top to bottom OEJ. It's kind of amazing that you can wring out so much detail from 20000 polys. Will you be doing final renders too? Might make great wallpaper. :)

First I'd like to finish all the models: FB and FBL 3G & 3GX, then maybe I'll make some renders.

normal / specular maps

Boof I ask you a stupid question about Using normal / specular maps.
Have you ever used a RLE compress? Is it possible?

I would like to reduce the 64M in 4096x4096 ...

Thanks!

I didn't really know the answer to this question so I did a little test. I would say It's a good idea to use RLE compression to reduce overall file size with no loss of quality. :)

Wish I knew this before. My files sizes would have been much smaller. Ya learn something every day.

normal and specular maps

Hi,

One more question on normal and specular maps ...

May I use the Compress RLE, or is better without?

Thanks

Yes it's a good idea to use RLE compression. "I would say It's a good idea to use RLE compression to reduce overall file size with no loss of quality."
